The final touches at the Nyayo Stadium are underway as kenyans continue to flock in to bid the former president a goodbye.
Mwai Kibaki passed away last week after fighting his life with a prolonged ailment.
The procession is expected to leave State House at 9:00 am where a mini service will be held before the main funeral service at Nyayo stadium.
The cortege will be received at the stadium at around 10:45 am by President Uhuru Kenyatta and members of the Guards of Honor and the Military.
Kenyans woke up early despite the cold weather to beat the 8 am deadline when all attendees were expected to be seated as they awaited the start of the State funeral.
