Students of Kituro High School and Timboroa Boys High School in Baringo are counting losses after fire razed down their dormitories on Sunday evening.
The fire which started at around 9Pm at Kituro High School, when students were in class for evening preps destroyed unknown value of properties including bedding, uniforms and boxes belonging to students.
County fire engine together with students and locals came in handy to extinguish the fire which was threatening to spread to the next dormitory.

The same incident also happened in Timboroa Boys High School in Eldama Ravine where a school dormitory was reduced to ashes after the fire broke out in one of the dorms.
Baringo County Commissioner Henry Wafula confirmed the two incidents and said that they have already launched investigations to ascertain the cause of the infernos at the same time calling upon learners to exercise patients instead of destroying school’s property.
